I’ve got a couple more pet projects that should be relatively quick and can be done using WordPress. These days, the whole “start from scratch” approach just isn’t for me anymore. I’ve accepted that if something needs fine-tuning, I’ll handle the programming for that, but I’m totally fine with sacrificing a bit of load time or using a less flexible framework instead of building everything from the ground up.
So, what’s the next project? Lately, I’ve adopted the “keep it to yourself” approach—not because I have some groundbreaking idea that needs guarding, but simply because I prefer not to share anything until I’ve fully thought it through. And because I need to abstract myself from my creations. I don’t need recognition or validation. I’ve achieved plenty on my career as a software developer. I want more quiet and less noise.
