I’ve been hopping around cozy games for a while. Luma Island stands out as a very beautiful, well-crafted, lush game by Feel Free Games. I don’t honestly know what to expect from it, but I do want to keep playing it — the sound design and the general approach feel up my alley.
There’s a rhythm to it I can’t quite put a name on, and I keep chasing it. Exploring, building things, just letting my mind drift as I play through. I’d say check it out if you like cozy games. It’s perfect for the Steam Deck, which is funny, because I had to refund the game when it first came out over performance issues. I left it, and it kept glowing without me. All that said, I feel like I’m going to have a good time, and I can’t wait to talk about it more.
