In a “surprising twist,” my initial impression of Queen’s Blood was that it was overly complicated, so I forced myself to learn it through trial and error, often losing in the process. During that time, I grew to dislike the tower defense minigame, Condor, because it felt even more overwhelming than Queen’s Blood. The CPU would relentlessly send tough minions at you, leaving little to no window of opportunity, and you’d constantly run out of time. Even when using the correct units with proper advantages and disadvantages, it just felt like too much to handle.
