I guess it goes without saying that I’m not in the mood for a zombie game. Moreover, I think Days Gone failed to capture my attention when it started unfolding opening of the game. I found indifferent about the characters presented, and there was nothing intriguing about what was happening either.

I’ve heard that Days Gone “gets better” towards the end, but if I have to wait until the final chapters for things to get interesting, that’s probably the final nail in the coffin for me.

There’s more to it than that. The gameplay is decent, but the menus for crafting and selecting items or weapons are absolutely terrible.
