I’ve taken tons of new screenshots while making progress in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. However, I’ve been on a long break from Rebirth, spending more time chilling with Oblivion Remaster instead.

I’ve made peace with the Final Fantasy 7 Remake. It feels more than obvious that Tetsuya Nomura is probably introducing alternate timelines, perhaps, as to why well, I don’t find anything Tetsuya Nomura do interesting and I don’t know how much of his hand has completely erased the identity of the classic. In which, fine by me, I’m still enjoying some of the moments in the game while also questioning some of the decisions.

There are absolute cute scene moments that I do appreciate and a more up-and-personal close up on each character giving them a slightly more depth. I just think a lot of the dialogue of Hojo/Cloud/Aerith shouldn’t have happened and I feel like the narration gives away a lot of what Cloud is going through.
