I’ve been working on this for like two months on my spare time. Most of the development went in small-sized bites. 1-2 hours per day and just carry on. The theme itself isn’t complicated and I think I would have finished it sooner if I went with a full flex solution but because I’m dealing with other plug-ins/etc it’s just what it is.
