I find it ironic that Google is burying the open web—the very foundation that got them to were they are today. How are they going to reach out to people if all the ads are gone—which perhaps it’s a modest chunk of their income. There’s nothing to gain for Google the moment they’ve let AI answer everyone’s question. No incentive for content creators who produce written content for the masses.

It feels like written media is fading away, and it’s truly disheartening.
